Platform Overview

The FusionDox platform is a core system that implements the industry standard features of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) as well as many additional capabilities.

On top of this system are tools for building intelligent business applications ("FusionDox Applications") that automatically inherit the underlying revision control and usage auditing properties and provide full-text search and workflow tools.

FusionDox provides full portal services and is well suited as a consolidation platform for tying together disparate systems. The underlying service-oriented architecture (SOA) allows information to be exchanged seamlessly with other J2EE and .Net applications.

The built-in form design tools ("FusionForms") allow developers to directly access 3rd party application data from within FusionDox documents providing a direct link to data from multiple sources and providing the capability for reporting across those sources.
